In the dashboard, go to the Pure settings and in the “view options” tab you can add some custom csss.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ve figured out how to set up the portfolio as I’d like, but I do have another question. How does one add additional images to the main part (left side) of a post? such as http://www.gt3themes.com/wordpress-themes/pure/portfolio/aenean-at-semper-augue/ where there are 2 images below the featured images. my site is http://www.raykeilmandesign.com
