In a week after Beta 1 came out, WordPress 4.0 Beta 2 is released. So today we reviewed the most essential changes which come in a new version of this powerful software.
WordPress developers highlight that Beta 2 is still in development and it’s good for downloading and testing, but not for using it on your running sites. Besides further refinements and enhanced improvements, WordPress 4.0 Beta 2 includes the following changes:
- Update of TinyMCE contains better indentation for lists and the restoration of the color picker;
- User interface was added, so you can see plugins with good ranking at the forefront;
- The grid preview of the media library has better performance than the list view;
- Cookies are now tied to a session internally;
- Various bug fixes (nearly 170 changes).
So if you would like to test the latest version, download WordPress 4.0 Beta 2, check it and report about any bug you may find.
And the new version is around the corner! In the middle of August we will have WordPress 4.0!
